Have we packed yet? No. But, we have collected stuff into a pile and that is good for now. Any suggestions? Here is what is in our huge pile now:
* heavy coats for the children's home
* puzzles/games/crafts for the kids (will use when we are with the kids, and also leave there)
* some little trinket-gifts for people there (fancy soaps, teas, very pretty paper napkins, etc.)
* clothes and supplies for us and K
Our goal: no more than 3 outfits/underwares/etc. each. We can handwash and re-wear. Backpacks and a light load for home will be the priority, because the greatest emphasis will be on the comfort of K, and not on the hauling of stuff. Why hold suitcases when you can hold hands? We hope we can make that happen!
